What is a Sequoia Massage? A Sequoia Massage Therapist will take a therapeutic approach to your massage focusing on your needs. From relaxation to penetrating trigger points, a sequoia massage will improve your health through the release of stress. Sequoia offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, and Reflexology.
- Swedish Massage: Most common form of therapy, soothing relaxation massage ideal for reducing stress and anxiety.
- Deep Tissue: A deep pressure massage aimed at alleviating muscle aches and soreness.
- Hot Stone: A traditional massage focused on the application of smooth heated rocks to help release tight muscle.
- Shiatsu: Finger pressure massage based on holistic system of traditional Chinese Medicine. The Shiatsu massage is used to improve natural flow of energy through the body.
- Sports Massage: a form of bodywork that uses Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage techniques specifically adapted to deal with the effects of intense physical exertion on the body. Its primary purpose is to ease stiffness and pain in both muscles and joints, increase mobility in muscles and joints, warm muscle and connective tissue prior to exercise and help in removing toxins and lactic acid after a workout.
- Reflexology: Stimulation of points on the hands & feet that are thought to correspond to other areas of the body.
How Much does my Massage Cost? All of Sequoia’s massages are purchased based on time not type of massage. Sequoia offers an hour and a half, one hour, 30 minutes, and our 20 minute Express Massage.

How do I sign up for a massage? It’s easy! You can stop by the BodyBlast Office and set an appointment with your Sequoia Massage Therapist or Call 215.789.3537.
Where will I get my massage? First you will enter the Sequoia Oasis Room, located next to the women’s locker room at Weston Fitness, for relaxation and breathing exercises. After a short introduction by your therapist, you will enter the Sequoia Massage Room.
So, I loved my massage… what’s next? Your therapist will give you a course of care intended to relieve your specific aches and pains while bringing your mind, body, and spirit into a deeper relaxed state. Your course of care will include a recommended massage schedule to alleviate these issues. You will have the opportunity to sign up for a package of massage, based on your therapist recommendation, at a discounted rate.
